This event is being facilitated by "Sharing The Skills" http://sharingtheskills.co.uk/

Sharing the Skills is a vehicle to spread the knowledge of experienced practitioners to other professionals providing maternity services.

Changes in the provision of maternity services over the years has meant that many midwives and obstetricians may not have learnt or practised these skills, while the need for them has not gone away, for example when faced with an undiagnosed breech presenting baby.

We have gained extensive clinical experience and knowledge about breech, twins and other unusual normal births. The realisation that this knowledge is too valuable to be lost, led us to the idea of starting Sharing the Skills study days.

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Marek Glezerman will be joining us from Tel Aviv. Dr. Glezerman's eary criticism of the Term Breech Trial helped to open dialogue regarding the validity of the trial results and fueled further research and scrutiny of the wisdom of halting the practice of vaginal breech birth based on a single study.
